About Us

NR Medical Imaging was incorporated by Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamad, aiming to provide X-ray reporting services and courses to GP clinics all over Malaysia. The business officially started in April 2007 at Jalan Bola Tampar, Section 13 Shah Alam providing X-ray reporting services and CME (Continuing Medical Education) courses (for X-ray license renewal). It was then just 2 rented tables inside a real estate office. Then in 2009, the company moved to a rented premise in Jalan Boling Padang, also in Section 13 Shah Alam. Additional services of Diagnostic X-rays & Ultrasound were introduced. In 2016, the company then moved to a new and bigger premise at TTDI Adina Shop Office, our current address. A mammogram was installed to cater for women who need a better breast imaging service. From physical reporting, we have moved to teleradiology. The service now caters to more than 400 GP Clinics and Medical Centres all over Malaysia. We handle almost a thousand images a day with 7 Radiologists on our reporting panel. Teleradiology allows fast reporting turnaround time. We have certainly make a difference to patient care. We have also started structured Ultrasound Training for General Practitioners and Medical Officers. We strongly believe that ultrasound is an important diagnostic tool that every doctor should learn. It is not impossible that one day, Ultrasound will become complimentary to the good old stethoscope. Our X-ray CME program continues to attract hundreds of Doctors and Radiographers. CME courses are held almost every month, making it easier for doctors to manage their time. We have also started 40 hour x-ray course for doctors who aspire to be x-ray license holders. These are conducted online via Zoom, making it very convenient for speakers and participants. Workshops on Radiographic Techniques are also held regularly. This workshop is beneficial for Radiographers to sharpen up their Radiographic skills. In 2021, we acquired another premise (in the next block of our current office) dedicated for our Ultrasound and X-ray workshops. This is to accommodate the rising demand for physical workshops. In the ultrasound lab, we have a set of 5 ultrasound phantoms representing various parts of the patient’s body. In the x-ray lab, we have an actual x-ray machine for participants to learn Radiographic technique properly. We are here to assist the GP Clinics and Medical Centres in improving the Imaging Services, a notch higher! We are Your Partner In Knowledge Sharing
